		<description><![CDATA[World History classes completed a unit on Absolute monarchs by creating web pages for selected 15th-17th century European leaders.  The purpose of the unit was to allow students to learn bibliographic and geographic information about historical figures and to use a creative mechanism as the assessment. For the most part, it was a successful endeavor.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman">Coach Imlay, a native of Columbus, Indiana has been part of the Christian Academy of Louisville community for 25 year.<span>  </span>After graduating from Cincinnati Christian University where he played 4 years at the collegiate level, Coach Imlay started his coaching career at CAL coaching Varsity Women’s Basketball, JV Men’s Basketball, and HS Baseball in 1984.<span>  </span>He became the Head Men’s Basketball coach in 1987 and is beginning his 22<sup>nd</sup> year in that position. Coach Imlay has coached many other sports over the years and also served as Athletic Director at CAL for 13 years. Coach Imlay has won eight (8) </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman">ALL “A” Region Championships and assorted other tournaments and conference championships. <span> </span>Playing in the toughest region in the state (7<sup>th</sup>), Coach Imlay continues to produce a winning tradition and will be the longest tenured coach in the region this year.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman">Coach Imlay teaches full-time at CAL in the HS Social Studies department.<span>  </span>He is married to Mary and has two sons, Ben (17) and Marc (14).</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman">My favorite verse recently has been I Corinthians 9:24-27.<span>  </span>It has become a guiding verse for me.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman"><span> </span><em><span style="color: #333333">Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. <sup>25</sup> Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. <sup>26</sup> Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. <sup>27</sup> No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.</span></em></span></span></p>

He played varsity at Ninth &amp; O Baptist Academy all four years, and went on to Graceland College where he started during his two years. He has had 7 years coaching experience as an assistant coach at PRP (Pleasure Ridge Park), Doss High School and currently at Christian Academy of Louisville.  Eric has also been an associate instructor and assistant coach for Boys 17U, 16U, and 12U with Higher Level Basketball from 2006- present.  He serves as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach with the team.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman">Coach Moody played high school ball at Waggener HS here in Louisville, KY.<span>  </span>He has served as an assistant coach at Warren Central High School (2000-2001) which have been in KHSAA State tournament 6 of last 7 years.<span>  </span>He has also served as an assistant at Iroquois HS from 2001-2003.<span>  </span>He and his wife then lived in Madrid, Spain working in the missionary field for the next 3 years.<span>  </span>Coach Moody coached Freshman last year and now will move to the JV coach this year.</span></span></p>

He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where he played four years of HS sports including baseball, golf, track, football and basketball.<span>  </span>Coach Pollock went on to play 4 years of College Basketball at Northern Kentucky University.<span>  </span>He is a member of Southeast Christian and has been involved with coaching and directing MRA basketball for 10 years. Coach Pollock will be the Freshman coach this year.</span></span></p>
