TEAM Verse for 2008-09 season

Coach Imlay has selected II Corinthians 5:20 as the key verse for this year.  The verse emphasizes the importance of being “the message of reconciliation” for the lost.  “This verse has impacted me because it reminds me that God is using me to introduce the lost to Jesus Christ.  It has become very convicting.”

World History Web Sites

World History classes completed a unit on Absolute monarchs by creating web pages for selected 15th-17th century European leaders.  The purpose of the unit was to allow students to learn bibliographic and geographic information about historical figures and to use a creative mechanism as the assessment. For the most part, it was a successful endeavor.

Scrimmages set for November 22 and 29

CAL will host Cincinnati Christian School November 22 for a JV and Varsity scrimmage starting at 6pm.  This sister ACSI school is traveling to Nashville and then coming to play the Centurions.  CAL will also host Louisville Shawnee on November 29 at 12 noon for Freshman, JV, and Varsity quarters.

HS Men’s Basketball Prepare for Visit

CAL Men’s Basketball will be visiting the A Woman’s Choice Resource Center on November 8.  During the visit, the team will tour the facility, do some odd jobs, and be invilved with the prayer vigil for unborn children.Â
